I long to see the seasons come,
When sinners shall come flocking home,
To taste the sweets of Jesus’ love,
And seek the joys that are above.

Hark! how the glorious gospel sounds,
Inviting sinners all around;
Behold! your loving Savior stands,
And spreads for you his bleeding hands.

Come then, dear sinners, counsel take,
And all your sinful ways forsake;
The world give o’er, leave friends behind,
In Christ you shall redemption find.

Take your companion by the hand,
And all your children in a band,
And give them up at Jesus’ call,
To pardon, bless, and save them all.
